Sony have announced hundreds, no thousands of PlayStation 4 owners have embraced the integrated streaming capabilities of the PS4. There have been almost 800,000 gameplay broadcasts and more than 7.1 million spectate sessions via video streaming platforms, Twitch and Ustream, totaling more than than 20 million minutes of live gameplay streamed from PS4 systems.
Since the 15th November launch, 10% of all content on Twitch has come from PS4 systems in the U.S and Canada and the November 29th launch in Europe, Australasia and Latin America, based on average minutes broadcast. Ustream is reporting an average of 31 minutes of streaming per broadcaster. Battlefield 4, Killzone Shadow Fall and Call of Duty: Ghosts are among the top games broadcasted. Continue reading
