Nordic Games have revealed the cover art and some awesome screenshots for their upcoming blockbuster release, Deadfall Adventures, coming to the Xbox 360 and PC September 27th.
The cover-art takes inspiration from the Lost World genre of literature, popularised in the early 20th century through novels llike King Solomon’s Mines and The Last That Time Forgot that depicted the discovery of unexplored and exotic worlds. Also paying tribute to the science-fiction and adventure ‘Pulp’ magazines of the same era, giving rise to one of the greatest treasure hunters and pulp action heroes of all time- Indiana Jones.
Developed using the Unreal Engine 3, the game is full of jaw-dropping moments, as you battle natural and un-natural enemies across stormy deserts, icy depths and steaming jungles. Playing as Quatermaine, encountering fiendish puzzles, deadly traps and stunning set pieces…. this could possibly be one of the greatest adventures ever told, let alone played.
